Washington is in negotiation over the next Stimulus Relief Package, and this relief bill could incentivize employees to return to work. This is good news for the high unemployment rate that was caused by the pandemic shutdown.

This new stimulus in the works. It is called the HEROES Act and could pay up to $6,000 per family and provide back-to-work bonuses. This is still in negotiation, but again, it is encouraging for the economy to have employees return to work, and the extra compensation should help incentivize.

Also, now business owners now have until August 8 to apply for the PPP Loan. This extension gave an extra 5 weeks and allows businesses that have not applied or received the PPP loan to consider one last chance to collect the low-interest debt that the PPP loan offers. Read about the PPP here.
